Award-Winning screenwriter, director, and editor Jill Poisson is built with New England grit and wit and can take on any genre. Jill specializes in breathing life into flawed characters that audiences want to root for. Humour is their secret weapon in all their work. Jill's career ambitions growing up, from a lawyer to a meteorologist to an astronaut, were influenced by one film or another. Eventually, they finally decided to take the leap of faith and become a filmmaker. They bring an unwavering dedication and passion for every aspect of visual storytelling. With two decades of experience, Jill serves as packaging editor at WORLD, a PBS channel available nationwide in 75% of PBS stations.
